Shipping and Return Policy

Expansion Group cares about your purchases and we want you to be happy with every purchase you make from our store. We take every effort to inspect and ensure your order is fully intact and packed well before it leaves our hands. If damage to your package occurs en-route there is a process that needs to be followed by the carrier. This may require some cooperation from you. We cannot refund you for any damaged item until a claim with the carrier is processed. We will require photos, any other proof of the damage, and in some cases you might need to communicate with the carrier yourself. The claim process is necessary to ensure we are all reimbursed. If damage should occur you can feel confident we will do everything in our power to work with you and repair the issue.


Best Rate: Available in Canada/USA - Expansion Group absorbs shipping charges on all orders over $150, not including taxes or any other charges, we will choose the least costly option available. The lowest possible rate may not allow access to a tracking number. We want you to be aware of this fact should delays occur beyond our control. We will use any option for shipping including Postal Services, UPS, Purolator, Canpar FedEx, and DHL. If you choose this method, make sure your address is ready for both mail and courier delivery. Including your mobile number to allow for SMS/texting will also be helpful.


Express Rate: All orders requesting expedited delivery will be processed similarly to the “Best Rate” option. The difference is the services selected. Because we shop for the best rate to offer you our shipping options are limited to Postal, FedEx, and UPS. We want to process your order as quickly as possible and we need to limit the options by which we shop through. At check out you will see a shipping cost of $40, $80, or $120, each will be based on weight calculations. Your actual shipping charges will be adjusted at the time of shipping and we will contact you to refund what you were overcharged, or request the difference. This will be done prior to shipping your order. 


Your Account: In the conditions of the changing world we are aware that many of you have opened your own shipping accounts to save money. If you have an account with a specific shipping company we have access to we are happy to ship on your account. Please ensure you leave your account number and preferred shipper to use this option. For your rate quotes use N0B 1T0 as an origin postal code.


How We Calculate Freight

Expansion Group has entered the weights of all of their products in their system. When you order the estimated shipping cost is based on these weights. We have set-up rate categories based on these weights. When you send in your cart all weights are calculated to show what your shipping category would be. Orders over $150, not including taxes or handling charges, will be shipped free of charge. Otherwise orders will be shipped based on weight:

  • Between 0-.5 kg. - $7 shipping fee

  • Between .5-1 kg. $12 shipping fee

  • Between 1-1.5 kg. $18 shipping fee

  • Between 1.5-2 kg. $26 shipping fee

  • Between 2-2.5 kg. $32 shipping fee

  • Between 2.5-3 kg. $40 shipping fee

  • Anything larger than 3 kg. will be charged actual shipping costs and calculated after purchase. Expansion Group will contact you to review these adjusted charges and reimburse where applicable.


Discounted Shipping

Canada/USA: Orders of $150 or more receive no shipping charges. This is also taken into consideration where you use your own shipping account. If we keep your shipping company’s account and selections on your account with Expansion Group, orders over $150 will ship no charge on our account. This policy does not cover express shipping costs regardless of shipping account used.

INTERNATIONAL: Shipping costs are based on actual size/dimensions once packed. You will be charged a deposit of CAD$40 at order. We will email you after to let you know your actual cost of shipping and all your options. If your order is time sensitive, if you have a shipping preference, or you're looking for economy shipping, let us know in your order notes. Your shipping amount will be adjusted depending on the shipping method you choose. This service typically takes about 3 weeks. Insurance and Tracking vary by service and are added by request. Expansion Group will do everything in their power to ensure your order is sent quickly. Your actual shipping charges will be adjusted at the time of shipping and we will contact you to refund what you were overcharged with your package having been sent, or we will contact you to request the difference. We will not ship any International Order until the shipping charges are paid in full. Orders over $200 ship no charge freight via standard shipping only.

If Something Goes Wrong

We want you to be happy with your order and working with Expansion Group. Communication is the only way this can work. Please contact us for any issues with a lost package, damage, or delivery delays. Do not dispose of any packaging if your item is damaged. Do not attempt to repair or return any item that is damaged until the claim process has been followed. This is the best way to ensure your money is returned should there be a problem.  



All return items must be sent back prepaid. Shipping is not refunded. Shipping is calculated on the full rate and not the Half Price Shipping or Free Shipping. Insurance and tracking is not required but is your responsibility.  Please contact us first before sending any items back, and we'll work with you for the best possible outcome.  Please let us know the reason for the return.  Please do not return damaged items without contacting us first.

  1. Email a request for a Return Authorization Number (RA)

  2. Securely repackage the product being returned

  3. The returned package must have insurance unless otherwise stated during the process of receiving your RA

  4. Email once shipped and provide tracking information

  5. In some cases Expansion Group may retain 25% of the value of the product being returned


Non-Returnable Items: Expansion Group does want you to be happy with your purchases. However, we are fully aware that you can’t please 100% of the population 100% of the time. Because of this, there are some items we will not accept as a return. Please note these products categories are:

  • Essential Oils, Anointing Oils, Sprays, Soaps, Bath Salts, or Candles

  • Opened Products are Not returnable.
